BACKGROUND
Astrid, founder of Astrid Gaiser Garden Design, LLC, has been designing gardens in the Bay Area since 2000. First as a counterpoint to her career in high tech, and later as her main business. She is a landscape designer, horticulturist, and member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
Her primary goal is to design outdoor spaces that allow their owners to relax and find serenity - even if the only interaction with their garden on a given day is just looking out a window.
The use of water, a balance of sun & shade in a garden, several different places to sit down and relax even within small gardens, and luxurious layers of plants are Astrid's trademarks.
Astrid's background in the business-to-business market as a director of product management profits her customers today: Clients of Astrid Gaiser Garden Design, LLC are heard. Their dreams, wishes, and ideas are very important and they are skillfully translated into detailed requirements a contractor can build from. The results are beautiful landscapes and happy customers.
